A brief search on the internet shows that to get the inverse of it, the data should be divided by the length of the array. Dividing this, however, does not produce the original input data. Here's the routine that I use, it is based on the code published by Newland in his book on random vibration. (Sorry about the formatting here; I just can't get a handle on it)
