WebParents play a crucial role in the lives of their disabled children even after their son or daughter has made the transition to adulthood. Parents have a role to play in ensuring that the rights mandated to their disabled children by Federal law are made available to them. WebDisabled children are waiting too long for support, affecting their health and progress. Families are forced to fundraise for vital equipment or treatments that are underprovided by the bodies who have a statutory obligation to do so. Families are fighting through the courts for services which they desperately need.
